General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made via the online shops sejlana.ch and sejlana.com, and to any transactions where these GTC are declared applicable.

1. Scope

These GTC apply to all services, deliveries, and offers provided by sejlana.ch / sejlana.com. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these GTC in full.

2. Conclusion of Contract

All product and price information is non-binding and subject to change. Orders are binding once placed and cannot be altered or cancelled. A contract is only concluded when a shipping confirmation is sent by us. Please contact us in advance if you have questions regarding the contents or scope of your order.

3. Delivery

Orders are shipped via postal service or courier.

  • Switzerland: Delivery usually takes 1–5 business days.

  • EU: Customs duties and import taxes may apply and are the customer’s responsibility.

  • Other countries: Customs duties and import taxes may apply and are the customer’s responsibility.

If an incorrect or undeliverable address is provided, the return fees incurred will be charged to the customer.

In cases of stock shortages, we will inform you promptly. Partial deliveries may be made at no extra shipping cost. We reserve the right to request 100% prepayment for international orders.

4. Prices

Shipping costs are displayed before order completion.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The applicable price is the one valid at the time of order.

5. Payment Terms

We accept the following payment methods:
Twint, PayPal, Credit Card, Apple Pay

We may share your data with third parties for credit checks and payment collection purposes (e.g. CRIF AG, Zurich). You may revoke your consent in writing at any time.

6. Retention of Title & Offsetting Rights

  • We retain ownership of goods until payment is received in full.

  • You may only offset claims that are legally established or accepted by us.

  • If you fall behind on payments, all outstanding amounts become due immediately.

7. Product Defect

Defects must be reported within 5 days of receipt. Warranty does not cover misuse, wear and tear, or outlet items.

8. Return Policy

You may return items within 14 days of receipt.
Exceptions (non-returnable items):

  • Vouchers

  • Hygiene-sensitive products such as socks, underwear, and slips

Conditions for returns:

  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and hygienically perfect

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

  • We may deduct original shipping costs from the refund

  • Outlet items are excluded from returns

By accepting these GTC, you agree to our return policy.

9. Product Variations

Slight variations in design, color or packaging may occur and do not constitute a defect.

10. Care and Handling

We are not liable for damage resulting from improper use, care, or handling of the items delivered.

11. Data Protection

We treat your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Your data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required for order processing or legal compliance. However, we cannot guarantee absolute data security over the internet.

12. Marketing Communications

We use your email address and phone number for our own marketing purposes (e.g. newsletters) only if you have actively subscribed to our newsletter.
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails.

13. Product Reviews

After purchase, you may receive an automated email asking for a product review. Submitted reviews may be used for marketing purposes.

14. Vouchers & Discount Codes

Vouchers issued to specific individuals or groups are non-transferable. We reserve the right to cancel unauthorised orders. Only one discount code may be used per order.

15. Liability

We assume no liability for indirect or consequential damages unless caused by gross negligence or intent. This includes any injury or damage related to handling of accessories (e.g. bags).

16. Amendments to the GTC

We reserve the right to amend these GTC at any time without prior notice.

17. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

Swiss law shall apply, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Place of jurisdiction is Switzerland.
